A Girl thing!!

Hey you..girlie..girl..why do you like other's shoes. Others shirts..Others pants..Others purses...Others everything?

Is this a girl thing? Or I am just too much of a girl..that I often get disappointed at my stuff..I dont know, But when I look back at my old photos where I am wearing the same shoes, I just thought I loook goooood...!!

Put yourself in others shoes when you look at yourself.

So, the solution..Whenever you are disappointed about your appearance..look at an old photo where you are wearing that and it gets you to the reality.

Things that sooth you inside...

Almond Milk!!! Yes, Almond milk with Quaker Oats(blueberry + apple) is heavenly combination!!!
Soo...sooothing to the stomach..If you had a bad day or a day when you had the wrong food, when you just want to relaxxxxx, have this at night, you will forget everything!
If you are happy inside, you are happy outside too..
So, therefore keep your innerside happy.
Give it whatever it wants.

MY Balcony...!!!

My Balcony..green colored flooring was selected by my Dad green is an out-door color.

He chose brown for kitchen and light peach for hall, I still remember.

Memories..yes lots of them. When we first constructed our house, my height was with the height of the balcony.

Today, I hold my hands on the balcony...:) Yes, I have grown up but the balcony didnt..:).

This was our evening and morning spot while drinking tea and coffee and watching the road. And ofcourse do people watching.

You can sit here all day and watch people and not get bored. You just need a friend who can make good tea and have long conversations.

This was the same balcony where I had head massages sunday ke sunday.

This was the same one where I spent my afternoons. Its like whenever I got stressed out, I used to run out and come here to just sit..It was my refuge.

Powercut and Rajma..!

hehehe..you must be laughing reading my title.

Today we had a partial power-cut in my apt. The kitchen didnt have any light but we used the light from the hall.
Since we have Gas Stove, we could atleast cook.

I thought of making rajma, the can opener didnt work. I had to beat with a knife to open the can...huh.

Though we had a power-cut, I enjoyed it. We cooked by the candle-light. The red rajma looked more delicious in the candle-light for some reason.
After cutting onions and tomatoes, I started cooking. The moist onions in the candle light with the juicy tomatoes and garam masala..yummmmmy it was even to cook.

Preparing a meal with no light but only candle light seemed to be more fun and native and this is how early man used to eat slow-cooked meals I guess.

Well I enjoyed every bit of it! Rajma never tasted better..!

Taare Zameen Par and Mumbai..

Whats the relation between Taare Zameen Par, Mumbai and Omelettes??

For some reason, This movie increased my love for omelettes.

I feel that more people in Mumbai eat omelettes than in Hyderabad. May be because of their busy lives, they think its easy to cook in the mornings.

For me, Omelette is like Dosa batter with a lot of protein. Just break the egg and you got your batter. You dont need the long procedure in making dosa's.

Its a quick dosa!

Florida Orange Juice!!!

I have driven to Orlando many times but cant forget this last trip where we stopped at the exit as it was advertised that they are providing, 'FREE ORANGE JUICE', that caught our eye as it was written in big fluorescent letters.

Yummmmmm...there were samples of 5 varieties of oranges, Navel Orange, Red Navel Orange, Red sugar baby(they named it that way), Honey-Oranges and one more....

They were cut into small pieces and placed them on the table for samples. It was unlimited supply of Oranges.

Just imagine what happens when you continuously eat oranges. My mouth was filled with the citrus freshness. And my whole body too....

And inside the gas station, there was FREE orange juice. I had about 5 cups.
It was Citrus goodness for FREE!

However, its just a sales trick. I bought 4 $ worth of oranges because of all this.

OH well, its only benefiting me, so I dont mind..:)

I had about 5 red navel oranges and red sugar baby orange slices.

Soo..Refreshed and Rejuvenated I was.....

People are skin deep..!

'Beauty is skin deep', 'Dont judge a book by its cover', when I hear these..I realize that they talk about the 'depth' in things and people.

Yeah, people are also skin deep. When I see a person, I feel how happy they are.
But when I talk to them. Thats actually when I know.
What you see is actually what thats not there. Some people fake happiness as they cant find true happiness.

Some people hide the fact that they have huge life-threatening problems but outside they look hard as a shell. How can they hide everything inside?

Whats the size of a mind or heart? Is there a memory limit on the size of the brain? :) I always got this doubt.
