Where are you from?

Someone said they are from Delhi. The other friend said they are Orissa. Every place I hear, I remember something about it.

Delhi reminds me of parantha, eggs with a pile of bread, beautiful girls, pure hindi. Women wearing hands full of chudi and mehendi. Mehendi is a big thing in Delhi..trust me. I was in the Delhi airport, was observing some girls. How they get ready. Most of them had Mehendi for some reason, the ones married had hands full of Bangles. And they were on phone, most of them.

Mumbai..Ahh Mumbai reminds me of sultry and humid climate. Street-smart people. Good food. Eclectic food, that is you can find food of any culture here which is amazing! And people in Mumbai can cook anything from Italian to Russian. And these people never visited these countries, they just know! How I have no idea.

Calcutta! Ahh Calcutta, there is a cuisine with this name..:)..haha.. So, Calcutta reminds me of 'fish'. :) And Rani Mukherjee.

Hyderabad, reminds me of Hyderabadi Biryani, people who speak urdu + telugu mix in an interesting way. They should have a new language of their own.

Gujarat! Reminds me of Garba and Dandiya! Patel brothers who own most of the gas-stations in USA.

Now, lets go International..:).

China reminds me of Green tea, skinny people, beautiful skin. What else do you want? They eat really healthy food in my opinion.

Italy reminds me of pizzaa.

French reminds me of perfumes.

Eiffel Tower and Paris remind me of Coffee, Cafe Latter, Cappucchino and Cafe*.

Friends and their types!

Friends is an open 'term' but there are different categories of friends:

1. Facebook Friends

Just exist on Facebook. But you don't know their phone numbers. You just know where they live. And they comment on your 'posts' and 'photos'.

2. Event Friends

Love to spend time with you at an event. They only call you when there is an event and they don't have anyone to go with.

3. Spectator Friends
These friends observe whats going on in your life either via social media like Facebook or through your friends. But they don't talk to you.
They secretly keep track of all your activities but you don't even know they do this! :) Its like spying on you! Yah! Just kidding.

3. Party Friends
Again, party friends join you in a birthday party that you host. They want to be part of the cake and celebrations so that they can have some fun. But then, they never call you afterwards. They just appear at a party.

4. Office Friends
These friends could be personal friends or they may not be. They just say hi every morning. Have lunch with you. And evening when they leave, they say 'bye'. They arent necessarily part of your personal life though. They'd like to keep business at business.

6. True Friends
True friends, well you could be a true friend to someone but don't expect the same back.

  • True friends call you back when you call.
  • Are concerned about you.
  • Always are ready to help you in whatever situation they are in.
  • If they dont have money, they help you in some other way.
  • If you are in trouble, they are the first one to come to rescue.
  • You don't need to ask for help. They are just there for you.
  • They help but wont expect help.
  • 'True friends are those who are still there when everyone else leaves a party'. They arent the ones who eat the cake but who care about cleaning the mess.
At the end of the day, you do need a 'true' friend. Make sure you try to find at least one true friend. The rest all doesn't even matter.

Be grounded!

Be grounded no matter how rich or famous you become. It looks nice. As a person, you grow not in a 'kommulu' ochina way.

Greatness needs to show in your deeds. Thats when you are called a 'Great' person. Not because you are rich and famous. Mahatma Gandhi was a 'Great' personality because of what he did. But he only wore a 'dhoti' and won our country! :) Don't underestimate the power of a 'Dhoti' man.. haha..

Picture Perfect!

Is life picture perfect? When we say someone's photo is 'picture perfect', we mean everyone in the picture has the right facial expression and they all are smiling perfectly. Right?

But just how they say 'reel' life and 'real' life. I often noticed that people who are always smiling on the 'reel' life, that is, in their pictures are very sad in their 'real' life. How ironic..

They find more happiness when they see their photo than when they see themselves in the mirror.

Value of things

We often lose the value of things we have and crave for something more. But when we lose what we have, we realize how valuable it is. Its just the theory of life.

People are born to do what they do!

ARR Rehman should compose good music that would bring a smile when you are sad. And cure your headache and change your mood. Thats what good music should do!

Thanks to people who create good music! Its such a relief! When I have a stressful day Nothing feels right. And when I listen to my favorite song! Everything seems to be tolerable!

So, my whole idea of writing this blog post was that 'God' designs certain people to do certain things.

A beauty parlor lady does 'eyebrows' threading, which I cannot do. A tailor stitches good clothing which I cannot. Rehman composes music! Mohit Chauhan sings like velvet! Very smooooooooth voice like 'Folgers' Coffee!

Well, let people do what they are supposed to do. I work for a company. My services are indirect not what you can see..:).

Let me be me! People say I spread humor whereever I go. I will do this job for now. You all read my blogs.! :) I need people who do this too!
