Jaane tu ya Jaane na

Just saw this movie the other day. Some thoughts...

ok..to sum it up, I like the movie. Mainly how it was treated. Especially like the beginning of the movie when the titles roll, the jazz music and the people in the background. It looked like a painting in movement. nice.....have never seen it in an indian movie..

The friends at the airport is an ok idea. But the girl who was listening to the story was so annying. kept on whining and later she herself started listening to the story.
But it was just a story of two friends, not an epic, don t know why they thought to narrate it to her..:)

They should have picked a different scene to narrate the story, may be a background voice narrating the story instead of the friends..hmmm..that would be more realistic.

But still it wasnt bad.

Then I was waiting for the song 'kabhi kabhi aditi'. Its soo silly that he sings this song for aditi because of a cat. I was expecting a breakup in aditi's life. 'kabhi kabhi aditi koi apna lagta hai..' Yeah Right!!!
The song was misplaced at the wrong scene. The reason it was placed there was to show that he cared so much for aditi. hmm..too good to be true. But might b e true..dont know.

The movie had a total 'bombay' feel to it!! Totallly...you feel like you are with your friends in Bombay. Also liked some characters and scenes in the movie.
Aditi's brother, interesting guy, he talks very less but is a very deep person. After looking at his room, aditi is so surprised to know her bro is soo talented.
I first couldnt figure out they were siblings, thought they were friends.

And later in the movie, 'Jay's girlfriend, some things about her and her life. The first thing I thought about her, she was soo beautiful.
Her parents, they never loved each other, just blamed each other, they acted very natural. Just to make herself happy, she says, they loved each other so much even though they fight.
That was not true. She says, 'Life is not perfect, so we just have to create an illusion that it is...', soooo true..

You cant keep thinking they dont love each other, Instead put it in a different way, that they themselves dont know how much they love because they fight, only when you love, you fight.

Anyway, it was a good movie. Genelia had this arrogant attitude which I didnt like much. As she weas portrayed as a sweet gal in most of her movies. Well she did her role well, acted as a spoiled brat.

Jay(amir khan's nephew) is so cute. Acted well towards the end in emotional scenes. Love the song, 'Tu bole glass aadha khali..main bolun aadha bhara'. and the jazzzzzzzzzzz in the background..brilliant Rehman.

That changed the whole feel of the movie!!
